3dGeoExplorer is an easy and accessible web-based program made to explore in real 3d scenery,
most mountain region of the world.
By clicking on a 1:1 000 000 scaled map, you can quikly get where YOU want to go.
You can also add your own gps data or other gis data to build custom map and see it in 3d.
International Data Set
It uses NASA's SRTM digital elevation model(DEM) with a 90m resolution to build 3d frame and NASA's Landsat 7 ETM+
satellite image with 14.25m resolution to overlay the 3d frame.
Premium Data
Those are higher resolution data coming from various source.
The locator map is build using ESRI's Digital
Chart of the world(DCW) data with a hill shading image as background.
